    Wangerbanger, led by Lea
Riddles in the Dark, led by Blue

My first time back on rock, climbing, after twisting my ankle during Thanksgiving. I was awful on all climbs and am motivated to train more.

Santa Ana River Trail, Orange County, CA

Biking with Miguel from Costa Mesa through Santa Ana to Anaheim. 24 miles round trip was all my knees and bum could take!

Future Games Wall, Joshua Tree NP, CA

Spent a nice day out with Miki and Bob. Bob drove up alone for the day, so Miki and I termed this “Bob Day,” and took turns following him.

Followed him on

    Invisibility Lessons
    Sandblast

Rock Garden Valley, Joshua Tree NP, CA

Got a lot of classics under our belts, with Miki:

    Young Lust
    Smithereens

    Becks’s Bet
    Double Dogleg

It was a good day. The forecasts of temps in the mid-90s scared me, as they did others, I suppose, since we got into the park, landed an nice site with Robert and Matt at Ryan, and then didn’t have to wait to do any of the climbs, even though we were in the shade and comfortable the whole time.
